Nota: Use common sense when writing email. Keep it brief, polite, and to the point. It isn't recommended that you give out a lot of personal information unless you have established a regular, stable correspondence. If you ever have any questions about this, please email me. Of course, you should also review the District's Internet policy in the Castle Key as well. Remember, in order to receive credit for email, you must write to your partner in Spanish and send me a carbon copy of every letter you send and receive.
Get Interactive on the MOO! Mundo Hispano is what Net junkies call a MOO. These are sites that let you roll play much like players of games like Dungeons and Dragons do. There are foreign language MOO's where students and teachers from allover the world gather in chat rooms and explore foreign countries. To learn more about foreign language MOOing, I recommend you visit the Mundo Hispano Web Site. There are a variety of ways to connect to Mundo Hispano. For Windows users, I would recommend you download a copy of Zmud. This program lets you navigate the MOO's much more efficiently. There are other programs available, too. For more information visit the MH Web site tech manual. Read the instructions on logging in as a guest as described at the MH Web site.
